Maybe I am biased, because of my heritage - when I accidentally found this book at a bookstore and I skimmed through the pages I was overwhelmed by strong emotions and I could not fight back tears. Reading this book was a pleasure. It has a wonderful plot and if the authors intention was to make you feel like you were living in the age of the early “ancient Greeks”, she managed to accomplish that brilliantly.
